The Story:
The history of Camino dates back to 2009 when its founder, Juan Jesus Marcos Padilla (1972-2018), decided to to crystallize his love and passion for wine, aiming to develop the finest Mexican wine in the Coahuila region.
Always passionate about living intensely and sharing his love for cultivating experiences with loved ones, in that year, 8 hectares of vineyards were planted in that year, highlighting cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and tempranillo.
In 2018, with Juan's passing, his wife Karla and their children decided to continue this project and legacy, carefully preserving the purpose and values that Juan instilled.
Over the years, we have kept the winemaking tradition alive, perfecting our art to produce exceptional wines.
Today, we are a recognized winery in the Coahuila and Nuevo León regions, with the goal of captivating the markets of Mexico and the United States.
While our aspirations to captivate an international market are significant, we remain a family-owned business with the virtues and traditions that it entails and a history that can be savored in every glass.
